From the President: Plant Operations

I am stopped daily with questions about future changes to operations and bids, and field even more complaints about the wisdom of the current assignments.

I understand the complaints, concerns, and worry this has caused to all clerks and I share your frustration. I wish I could offer some information that would reduce the workplace stress for everyone this Holiday season, but certainty or straight answers is in short supply within this current postal environment.

Anybody who is anyone is new and detailed into their positions, and nobody seems to know what the plan was yesterday, let alone have any firm conviction about the future. Ironic that we are the nation's mechanism to communication which is charged with binding the nation together, yet management cannot communicate its goals to its employees.
